4 Easy Ways to Join the Fight for Equality

Want to change the world but have NO IDEA where to start?

You aren't alone!

We all want more equality and kindness in our towns, but most of us aren't social justice experts and our free time is basically zero (...sometimes it's negative, how does that even happen??)

Here are quick, simple tips to get involved.

1. Set up recurring donations

It's so easy! Use the monthly donation option and "set it and forget it".

My faves? The ACLU - CenterLink - Planned Parenthood

2. Pick one cause, and show up for it

What's your favorite cause? Google their next event and put it in your calendar.

Need accountability? Invite your friends! Make a date night or friends get-together to boost the fun quotient and show your support.

3. Vote!

Y'all, this is so important. Register to vote here.

No time to research candidates? Join the mailing list of an organization you trust (I <3 the League of Women Voters). They'll email you a voting guide before the election.

4. Talk about what's important

This is free, spontaneous, and anyone can do it. Next time there's a conversation lull, bring up an issue that's important to you.

Pro tip: TED talks are great conversation starters. Some good ones: The Power of Vulnerability, The Danger of a Single Story, Poverty Isn't a Lack of Character
